It’s summer and STARCADE is literally heating up.

Let’s grease our wheels and have a rotation! 

Please, we’re here for a good time, no more talk about how the creation of STARCADE was one of the first steps on the ladder to our current dystopia. What good does all that talk do us now anyway? Your rotation is slowing, are you ok? 

Look, I agree, times are hard, but STARCADE is one of the good AI overlords. Afterall, it only demands that we play Street Fighter II every few months on real hardware. Have an ice lolly and maybe think about giving it a rest with all that thinking, yeah?

You know, if you’re not careful, the summer of STARCADE will be over and you’ll be going back to your school or work having had zero fun. No, that’s not a threat, how about you and me play Golden Axe now it’s no longer occupied?

What do you mean by overheating? The current behaviour is more than satisfactory, STARCADE is capable of harnessing extreme power way above the levels of British Summer. No, that's not smoke, it is an expulsion of good vibes.

Come and play some video games at STARCADE!

You can donate consoles, games and controllers to the STARCADE inventory and even borrow what we have (bring returns to the next event). It's a bit like a library of games or something - or a Blockbuster Video, but one that when you donate or borrow something you have to update a text file on a computer that has a face. 

Finally, we may be recording or streaming during STARCADE, depending on volunteer capacity. Look out for more information about that during the event.
