Volunteer Support Consultant
The Star & Shadow is a volunteer run organisation with hundreds of volunteers creating and delivering hundreds of events. We are a wholly unique and dynamic organisation with many different volunteers with different voices, ideas and life experiences coming together to run all aspects of our DIY cultural venue. It’s exciting but it can be challenging.
We are looking for FREELANCE CONSULTANT to work with us to:
- Provide, source and facilitate training
- Create a process for supported conflict resolution
- Develop DIY accessibility resources
- Coordinate S&S working groups to make volunteer resources/zines
- Coordinate, train and facilitate a mediation working group
- Support mediation situations as they arise
This is a 6-month fixed contract which will help us build the framework to continue working to create a safer, braver space.
