This December electro-folk pioneers and festival favourites Monster Ceilidh Band will be touring a special christmas show featuring their famous brand of ceilidh, christmas songs with Josie Duncan, Rachel MacShane, and local live traditional dance spots.

Monster Ceilidh Band (or ‘the Monsters’ to their friends) are spreading the Christmas cheer this year by doing something they’ve never done before - a Christmas ceilidh show! They will be visiting Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Allendale and finishing off with a great big party in Sunderland. At each show there will be traditional dance spots from local sides and at Newcastle and Allendale they will be joined by incredible singers, Josie Duncan and Rachel MacShane, who will sing Christmas songs with the band and an extended brass section
