GUT is a live improvisation of a 9-month experimental sound research project led by sound artist, Lindsay Duncanson, collaborating with Mariam Rezaei and Cath Tyler.
The performance utilises field sound recordings, folk songs, vocal improvisations, and sampling of recordings made at ‘Lemington Gut’ - a local nickname for a 5-6 acre wasteland situated on a bend of the River Tyne in Newburn.
