Losing the Plot #11 floats down from the heavens to land at Burnlaw Centre in the North Pennines for the eleventh edition of this unusual, special and deep DIY gathering around cinema, friendship and discussion about everything in the world. The event consists of 8 film screenings spread over Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, interspersed with collective meals, fires, walks, maybe swims, and if we are lucky a game of standing football.

The films at LTP span documentary, narrative and artists' moving image, and are generally those that stray from convention. It is primarily a social space rather than a pure cinephile space, and it is family friendly. If you would like to discuss any access topics in advance please do email info@goodcaveprojects.

This year we are thrilled to have a new screening facility - the Wayfaring Cinema (up until now the Thamesmead Travelling CInema) which excitingly has relocated to the Northeast under the new janitorship of Good Cave Projects, an experimental 'cinema-making' project home grown at Burnlaw. Thank you to Arts Council England for supporting this big step.

Tickets include accommodation and all meals and films and the cost is kept to an absolute minimum. Tickets have increased in price since our debut in 2014, but not at the same rate as everything else. We hope it is affordable to you, and if it is well within your means, please consider a solidarity upgrade.

Film titles will be added to the Star and Shadow website in the coming couple of weeks. In the meantime, headover to the ticketlink and Book Now to avoid disappointment - it sells out because the maximum capacity is only 60 :)
