Brendan Davis is an American filmmaker and composer based in France, specializing in international productions that bridge cultures and storytelling traditions. His work spans feature films, documentaries, and television, with credits including Deadgirl, Born to Dance, Life With Fiona, and Metamorphosis, which have premiered at Sundance HK, Toronto, Berlin, and other major festivals. He has produced projects in the U.S., China, France, Italy, New Zealand, Canada, and beyond, including the first Hollywood season of long-running Chinese TV hit Jia Pian You Yue (The Best), featuring Stan Lee, Justin Lin, and M. Night Shyamalan. Davis has also directed and/or produced several documentaries, including Crazyhot, a global exploration of the ultra-hot chili pepper world, and Yibin: An Elemental Journey for CCTV.

As writer-director, he is actively developing One Shot, a Paris- and Marseille-set drama, as well as Dirt Track Honeymoon, a feature film inspired by his short film and original song of the same name. His psychological drama The Unwinding expands on his earlier short film set in London of the same name. He is also producing My Favorite Season, a Paris-based high-fashion drama, for US-based International Troublemakers, and developing The Bishop’s Man with acclaimed filmmaker Babak Payami, to shoot in Nova Scotia. A former faculty member at the New York Film Academy and Chairman of Adamas Film International in Beijing, Davis has spoken at Stanford, UC Berkeley, and international forums such as Horasis Global Meetings. His work continues to blend artistic vision with global industry insight, making him a sought-after speaker and collaborator in the international film community.
