This is an oppurtunity to show your film on the big screen at the most famous independant, volunteer run DIY cinema in the scenic North East.  THE STAR AND SHADOW.  Submit your film here with your amazing creations.  Our  team of knowledgeable, highly skilled technical volunteers will tirelessly work to bring your film to the magic of cinema.

‘HOW DO I BRING MY LITTLE PIECE OF MAGIC TO THE WORLD???’ you may be asking....

It couldn’t be easier.

1. Follow this link and  LINK TO FORM fill in the form with the details of your film.

2. Add a web link to your film if it is stored on a drive somewhere.

or

Bring your film on the night.

Your film will then be added to the schedule

‘This sounds great but just one more question, what is the criteria for my submission?’ You may be asking?

1. Your film must be no longer than 12 minutes in length.  So get your editing skills into action for a night of lights of tight films.

2. The format for your film must be.mp4 or .mov format

(on a hardrive or USB compatible with PC for those turning up on the night)

3. We have non-violent and anti discriminatory values, so we dont show or endorse content that is racist, homophobic, classist, transphobic, ableist or endorses amy form of prejudice towards minority groups.

4. The film must be made up of wholly or in the majority of the submission must be made up of original material created either by the submitter or someone they represent.

The organisers have the right to refuse and final say on whether a film is accepted for submission.
