WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU!

It's Resurrection Sunday, which means it's time for our annual Zombie Film for Easter!

This year we've got an absolute classic from Italian horror auteur Lucio Fulci: the gory, surreal masterpiece Zombie Flesh Eaters. Returning to the Caribbean roots of the zombie myth, this take on the genre largely takes place on a small tropical island where a voodoo curse has caused the dead to rise from their graves. Can the zombie plague be stopped before it spreads off the island - or is it already too late?

A key film in the "video nasties" moral panic of the 1980s, it wasn't released in an uncut version in the UK until 2005. It's now considered a classic of the zombie genre, with infamous scenes of an excruciatingly slow eye gouging and an epic underwater fight between a zombie and a shark, as well as an iconic makeup design for the grotesquely decomposing corpses and an eerie synth soundtrack from composer Fabio Frizzi.

Hosted as always by our resident zombie volunteers, this installment of A Zombie Film for Easter is not to be missed!

The film will be shown with its English-language soundtrack and English captions / SDH.
