Welcome II the Terrordome (1995), by Black British Filmmaker Ngozi Onwurah, showcases Onwurah's cinematic explorations of race, gender and identity; drawing on autobiographical elements, her work is raw, dazzling and provocative. The film will be preceded by Onwurah's short film Coffee Coloured Children (1988).

The films will be followed by live music from Afro-Latin percussion & brass duet Ladies of Midnight Blue and DJ Awkward Black Girl. Ladies of Midnight Blue are an Afro-Latin percussion & brass duet comprised of Hannabiell Sanders (Bass Trombone, African & Latin Percussion, Mbira) and Yilis del Carmen Suriel (African & Latin Percussion, Mbira). They create a powerful and upbeat fusion of trance drum rhythms that produce a melodic percussive sound by weaving combinations of percussion, brass, vocal chants, and mbira. DJ Awkward Black Girl has been collecting vinyl for nearly 20 years, ABG brings the tunes to get you moving and smiling. Her extensive collection ranges from Rnb, Soul, Funk, Garage, Hip Hop, Disco, Dance, and much more to create a nostalgic party vibe with a current/classic twist.
